What Angamardhana is
Angamardhana is a complete fitness practice drawn from yoga. It is a dynamic system of thirty-one processes performed with the body alone, so it needs no weights or equipment.
The name means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs and body. It is medium intensity, suitable for ages 8 and over, practised on an empty stomach, and asks for a level of mental focus. With regular practice it builds strength, stamina and full-body fitness.
Who it is for
- People who want full-body fitness without a gym or equipment
- Anyone aged 8 or over, with or without experience
- Practitioners looking for a vigorous yoga-based practice
- Those who can bring a level of focus to the practice
How it is taught
Angamardhana is taught workshop-style in small groups, so you learn all thirty-one processes with correct form before making it your own. It is practised on an empty stomach.
Once learned, it becomes a practice you can do anywhere, using nothing but your own body. It sits well alongside our classical yoga and our training.

Such a great place. Holistic fitness with a wealth of knowledge on stability and functional movements. I have benefitted so much, from core strength to mobility and strength training. Highly recommend.
